One of the most famous art museums, housing masterpieces by artists like Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. Commissioned by Francesco I de' Medici in 1560, the Uffizi was designed by Giorgio Vasari. It houses one of the most important collections of Renaissance art in the world. You can also visit the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens here. The Boboli Gardens were established in the 16th century by the Medici family, who transformed the hillside behind the Pitti Palace into a magnificent formal garden. Entry costs are € 4 for the Uffizi, € 3 for Pitti Palace and € 3 for the Boboli Gardens.

Originally built in Roman times, the current bridge was rebuilt in 1345. It is famous for its shops built along it, a tradition dating back to the 13th century. Initially, the bridge housed butcher shops, tanners, and fishmongers. These businesses were often associated with unpleasant odors and waste, which could easily be disposed of in the river below. It was later decided that only goldsmiths and jewelers would be allowed to have shops on the bridge, aiming to improve its aesthetic and sanitary conditions. Whether you are looking for a unique piece of jewelry, a special souvenir, or simply want to experience the historic ambiance, the shops along the Ponte Vecchio offer a delightful experience.
